Lintel Quilted Vest$128.0050D ripstop, 120g fill
Cut to close over a mid-layer
Specified before it is made — cloth weight in gsm, where every seam falls, and which stress points are tacked.
“Heavyweight” tells you nothing. A 190gsm tee and a 480gsm high-pile fleece are both called cotton knit, and they are for completely different days. One number settles it; an adjective never does.
So every product page states the weight, the finished length or inseam, the hardware and how the piece is cut — and the same figures are printed on the label inside the garment, so you can check what arrived against what we published.
The pieces we cut first each season, and the ones we change least.

Cotton, linen and open poly-cotton weaves that move air instead of trapping it. Nothing that turns into a plastic bag at noon.
Rib collars knitted 2cm deep so they hold their shape after fifty washes. Bar-tacked pockets. Seams that sit outboard of a pack strap.
The colours you see are the ones that ship. Nothing hidden behind a swatch that never restocks.

A quilted vest with 120g of recycled polyester fill held in 6cm channels so it cannot migrate. The face cloth is 50 denier ripstop and the armholes are bound rather than elasticated.

The company takes its standard from the trade in its name. A wall that lasts is one where every course sits level and the load has somewhere to go — so here the things you cannot see decide the things you can. Formed in 2026; no workshop behind it, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Read our storyThe tees are a 180gsm combed cotton; the pocket tee steps up to 220gsm ringspun. Heavy enough to hang straight, light enough to wear through an afternoon in the sun.
They are pre-shrunk and cut with the wash in mind. Expect under 3% after the first cycle, and nothing after that. Wash cold, hang to dry, and skip the tumble dryer.
The Hatch Road long-sleeve is a 130gsm open-weave rated UPF 40, with a collar that stands 5cm to shade the back of the neck and cuffs that button back above the elbow.
A flat screen print on the left chest for tops, or a small tonal embroidery at the waistband on bottoms. It follows the weave rather than sitting on it, so it does not crack or peel.
New references, restocks and the occasional note on how a piece is specified. No more than once a month.
