Mason Tieu takes its standard from the trade in its name. A wall that lasts is not a wall that was decorated; it is one where every course sits level, every joint is even, and the load has somewhere to go. We buy and specify clothing the same way, and this page is the whole of the method.

The company was formed in 2026. There is no workshop behind it, no family trade, and nobody here laid brick for a living. What the name commits us to is not a past — it is a way of checking work.

A course is one level row. It only works because the row under it was true. Applied to a garment that means the things you cannot see decide the things you can: the weight of the cloth, where the seam falls relative to the joint it crosses, whether the stress points are tacked or merely sewn.

So every product page leads with construction rather than mood. Cloth weight in gsm. Where the shoulder seam sits. Whether the knee is doubled. If a detail is not listed it is because we have not measured it, never because we decided it did not matter.

“Heavyweight” means nothing until you know whether it is 165gsm or 400gsm — and both of those are in this line. A 165gsm chambray shirt and a 400gsm canvas pant are both cotton and they are for completely different days.

“Relaxed” is not a measurement either, which is why every product page carries a Fit line describing how that piece is cut instead of a word the reader has to guess at.

We carry five garments across three categories: shirts and overshirts, trousers, and outerwear. Five is not a soft launch — it is the number we can specify honestly and keep in stock in every colourway we publish.

Nothing enters the line because the line looks thin. A piece has to answer a question the others do not: a 340gsm drill overshirt for the layer above a knit, a 400gsm canvas pant for the day that will scuff, a quilted vest with the fill weight printed on the page.

Every piece is published in three colourways and photographed in all three. The photograph beside a colour is that colour — not a recolour of one shot, not a swatch pasted onto a base image. If a colour is not photographed it is not for sale.

We will not claim a history we do not have. No founding decade, no inherited lineage, no borrowed provenance.

We will not print a review we did not receive. Where a product has no reviews the page says so and shows the form.

We will not describe a fabric as sustainable, ethical or responsible without a document to hand you. We do not have those documents, so we do not use those words.

Tops run XS through 2XL. Trousers run waist 28 through 38. Every product page carries a Fit line, because a relaxed canvas pant and a cut-to-layer overshirt are not the same “medium”. Orders are picked, packed and handed to the carrier in 1–2 business days on every shipping method — Standard, Express and Overnight alike, because packing speed does not change with postage. The full table is on the Shipping Policy page.
